Acupuncture.

Acupuncture involves the insertion of hair thin needles into designated points to help balance the body and prevent/rid disease. Sessions begin with a detailed health history, where I will determine which points would be best for the treatment. Once the points are inserted, you can close your eyes and relax. Acupuncture sessions may include other modalities as needed for each individual.

Cupping.

Cupping therapy involves the placement of cups on the body to create a suction. The treatment is used for pain relief, decreasing inflammation, improving circulation, promoting relaxation, and as a mode of deep tissue massage. Traditionally, cupping therapy was done using glass cups and a fire to create suction. Most acupuncturists use modern suction cups today, which can either be left stationary on the body or can be slid along tight muscle bands.

Microneedling.

Microneedling is a minimally evasive skin treatment that helps stimulate the body’s natural reaction to produce collagen. The procedure uses tiny needles to treat scars, enlarged pores, wrinkles and fine lines, and lift your skin. The procedure is done with a serum of Hyaluronic acid and Chinese herbs customized to your skin’s needs. You should expect your skin to be red and inflamed for a day or two and the sun should be avoided after the treatment.
